Redactor.dev Terms of Use

Version dated 14 October 2026. Contact: inbox@redactor.dev.

1. Service

Redactor.dev provides tools for working with and publishing materials. These terms apply once you accept them. You must have authority to enter the agreement and act for anyone you represent. Protect your account access. Features, limits and prices are shown before activation.

2. Your materials

Rights to materials remain with you and other rightsholders. You permit processing solely to operate the service and follow your instructions. Publication requires your instruction. We do not sell content or use it for advertising or model training.

You decide what to upload and how to use it, and ensure the necessary rights and lawful grounds for processing. Where you are the controller of personal data, we act as your processor.

3. Processing on your behalf

The subject matter is processing personal data in your materials: names, contacts, images and other information about you and the people mentioned. Uploads determine the data and individuals concerned; selected features, commands and written requests determine purposes and instructions. Processing lasts until data deletion or termination of service.

To follow instructions, we receive, record, organise, store, update, retrieve, use, transmit, restrict and delete data. If we consider an instruction unlawful, we immediately inform you and suspend it; we notify you before legally required processing outside your instructions begins, unless prohibited by law.

We ensure confidentiality, confidentiality duties for authorised people and risk-appropriate security. You authorise storage, communications and AI providers; we impose equivalent protection and remain responsible for their processing on our behalf. Where legally required, we provide information for authorising providers and advance notice of changes with an opportunity to object.

To the extent required by law, we assist with individuals’ requests, security, risk assessments, consultations and notifications; provide compliance records, allow audits by you or your auditor and assist with them. We report personal data breaches without undue delay, sharing known circumstances and measures.

Data return and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Violations and reports

Illegal content, infringement of others’ rights, fraud, spam, malware and interference with the service are prohibited. Violations, security threats or binding requirements may lead to restrictions on materials or access.

Send reports to inbox@redactor.dev with the content location, reasons, evidence and contact details. We review without undue delay and inform the reporter of the outcome and the affected user of the grounds for restrictions where permitted. Request reconsideration at the same address.

5. Liability and changes

Check agent outputs before use; errors and interruptions may occur. Each party is responsible for its own breaches; mandatory consumer rights and liability are not limited.

We give advance notice of material changes. Changes requiring consent take effect after acceptance; terms already paid for are not worsened retroactively.
